The Little Yogi Studio & Wellness is a beautiful space based on the Cavehill Road, North Belfast.

Offering a wide range of classes; you will find one suited to you, no matter what your ability.  Our main goal is to lead others down the long path of self discovery that yoga provides. Whether you want to move your body, reach spiritual growth, or be more present, we know you’ll benefit from our practice.

Our class list includes a range of levels and techniques and are taught by our certified team of instructors. We pride ourselves in offering classes that are both dynamic and meditative, letting you move your body as well as still the mind.

Heated Flow - Tue & Wed 6PM, Sun 7.30pm

 GENTLY HEATED VINYASA FLOW This is a Vinyasa Flow class in a slightly heated room. The focus in this class is on flowing from pose to pose and linking your movement with your breath. In most Vinyasa classes you will start with a centering and warm up then flow through various sequencing.  Vinyasa classes will typically finish with a meditation in Savasana, so it is great for calming the mind.  This class is a great challenge for any level practitioner. You can gain many wonderful benefits including; increased endurance, stamina, strength, and flexibility.  The heat aids in warming the body and increasing detoxification through sweat.  This class is open to all levels of practitioner.  We encourage anyone to try.

Tue & Thur 7.30PmSun 10amA soothing, slow flow yoga class that concentrates on gentle stretching, hip opening and breathing to bring balance to the body with easy-going, relaxing postures. In this class we join the breath with each movement in a slow and gentle way, followed with breathing exercises and a guided relaxations to help lower any stress and get you ready for a good night sleep.

This beginner class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breathwork in a flow of postures linked together by the breath.Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal descriptions and demonstrations. Emphasis is placed on student understanding safety and stability within each pose. Gradually these poses will be linked together into a gentle flowing sequence.

Yoga Accessories

Stretch & Connect - In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body's range of motion.

Functional Movement - Provides Conditioning and mechanics needed to preform the tasks  your body is asked to do throughout life. You will learn how your body works so you can have longevity and discover the most mobile version of yourself.

Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. If you take a restorative class, you may hardly move at all, doing just a few postures over the course of an hour.

Breathwork is a therapeutic technique that utilises breathing patterns to guide the participant into an altered state of being, in this state we are able to process feelings, thoughts and release any stored emotion in the body. it is a spiritual, physical and mental healing experience.

For Girls to express their emotional state in a physical way while building self esteem,  confidence and a positive body image.

Students will learn techniques to reduce stress and anxieties through breathwork and connecting to their bodies in a loving way while still being playful and fun.

Much like other types of childbirth-preparation classes, prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Research suggests that prenatal yoga is safe and can have many benefits for pregnant women and their babies.

Chair yoga is a form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or using a chair for support. It is a great option for seniors or people with limited mobility who are seeking a low impact form of exercise that provides physical and mental benefits.

chair yoga allows you to safely preform gentle stretches, poses, and breathing exercises to increase strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation.

About me

Hi, my name is meghan, founder of The Little Yogi Studio.200 HR trained Vinyasa Flow Teacher Trained with elements of Meditation & Pranayama (Breath work). History & Origins of the Chakra System. EFT ( Emotional Release Therapy) & TFT(Thought Field Therapy). 30hr Yoga Bridge - Yoga for Cancer Certified.
Growing up with a mother who is a yoga teacher, it has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.It was the meditative aspects of Yoga that caught my interest initially, learning the power of breath regulate my thoughts and emotions.As my body has grew older and developed aches from the wear and tear of life, my appreciation for the Asnas (movement) has developed. Now I fully appreciate and want to share how the union of breath and movement harmonises the nervous system.
